Potty Training & Poop, Poop, Poop.
My oldest did awesome with the pooping in the toilet thing and wouldn't dream of pooping in his underwear. He had more trouble getting to the toilet in time to pee.
What's up mommies and daddies? Does it just vary from child-to-child...and how the heck do you break this undwear-poopin' habit?

Hmm...good question. I think some kids are scared of seeing the poop get flushed, like it's a part of them or something. That, and the feeling of pooping is kinda overwhelming...kwim?
At 25 months he's doing great though! Good on ya!
awwww! Has he ever pooped in the potty? Maybe you could throw him a poop party when he goes in the potty :) Have a couple baloons handy and some noise makers and go crazy when he actually does go in the potty?
Just a thought from a mom who has never gone through the potty training fun - so take it for what's worth ;)
Yeah, he has pooped in the potty and we make a big to-do about it...but there were no balloons or noise makers. Maybe that's an idea.
He is usual on a schedule, so if I set him on the toilet at the right time, we have a success. But if his timing is off, we usually have a big mess.
But apparently, he poops in the toilet for his Dad all the time. Go figure.

Hey, at least he's going pee...my 2 1/2 year old has no interest in being potty trained. He'll go if we put him on the potty but he won't ever tell us when he needs to go.
Ahh...the joys of potty training...
