A Whole New Man

I told you about going for haircuts the other day, but I didn't tell you what an ordeal it was. Natey hasn't wanted a haircut in months. Obviously, the hair stylist (yes...Nathan has a stylist...ha ha) doesn't want to cut the hair of a screaming child that doesn't want to stay in one place.
Well, earlier this week I asked him, "Malcolm is going to get a hair cut, will you get one too?"
He said, "Yes."
Well, we got there and he'd have nothing to do with it. I tried all kinds of bribes from lollipops to McDonald's. He'd say yes and then he'd change his mind. After a couple hours of wandering around the mall, I was about to give up.
Suddenly, we walked by a store and he saw this parrot balloon. He said, "I want that balloon!" Ah ha! I had my in....so I said he could have the balloon after his haircut. And he did it!
It was kind of cute when the lady was cutting his hair. He had very good manners and kept saying, "Thank you," throughout the whole haircut. But really, I think he was trying to tell the lady he was done getting his haircut and saying "thank you" was her cue to stop the cut. Still, we managed to get the whole head of hair cut and here is the handsome brand-new man:

Now Nathan tells us all the time that he got his haircut and that he is very handsome.
Who could argue with that? ;-)
