I Got the Supernanny
I really like her approach. It's always very calm - but it's also fair and firm. Our little Nathan is such a handful, I felt like I needed a bit of help. He's the most loving and cuddly boy ever (who loves to pet my face and say, "Mommy, you're so pretty"), but he's also a little hellion that just sometimes doesn't want to listen. I guess it's payback because I was the baby of the family and behaved in a very similar way! My poor mother.
But anyway, the book is really good. The book is published in the U.K. so there are a few phrases and figures of speech that went way over my head...LOL...but that doesn't take away from the message of the book at all.
Oh...and I'm glad the Supernanny says I should stop bribing with the promise of toys. I got myself caught in that trap. This is gonna save me some money and closet space. Blush.

But bribing your 3 year old daughter with chocolate is definitely still okay, right?
;)
What kind of phrases? You mean like nappies for diapers and lorries for trucks?
p.s. Nate sounds like a Sweetie ;)
Well, I know what a lorrie is and I didn't read the section about nappies...but there were a few phrases I'd never heard. I just tried to look for some of them, but of course, I can't find any now!
