Chivalry Ain't Dead

Yesterday at the park 5 year old Julien and 8 year old Caleb were playing with a lovely brown eyed girl, age 5. As hard as Caleb was trying to get her attention, I think she had her eyes on Julien.

She had a unique way of getting him to notice her. As they ran around playing tag, she would periodically scream: "Bug! Bug!" whenever she saw any kind of creeping, crawling or flying thing. Julien walked up to the post holding up the swing, and smacks his hand right on it to kill the poor insect. He held it up proudly to show her the dead bug guts.

She was duly impressed at his bravery. And they say chivalry is dead....
