Impossible Questions

My 5 year old is in the throes of the "Why" stage. He questions me constantly, and usually asks the same things over and over.

Usually I do ok, but sometimes I just don't know how to answer. For instance, he is quite upset lately over the fact that he was #2 in line. He just can't seem to figure out why Mom and Dad would have chosen to have him second.

What's a Mom to do?

Why do you want to know what to do? ;-)

My nearly 3 year old does this too. He asks "why" everything. He also does this thing now when I'm driving. He will ask me the name of EVERY street. "what's that street called?" "what's that one called?".... It's kinda cute I guess :)

Wow I have been really lucky so far, my 5 year old hasn't gotten to that stage and neither has my 3 year old. But now that I've said it I'm sure it will start. LOL
