I Don't Get Credit For Nuthin' Around Here

After weeks of careful deliberation, demonstration and endless patience teaching 5 year old dear son how to tie his shoelaces, he comes back from Grandma's proudly exclaiming "Mommy I can tie my own knot! Watch me! And NOBODY helped me, I did it all by myself!"

Sigh. Such is motherhood, eh?
