One very motivated homeschooler
I had to confiscate the Mac keyboard twice to back up my threats and that did the trick. Sean accepted my deal that he could buy two hours on the computer game in exchange for two completed tests. So no test, no computer time.
Yesterday he came to me with some amazing news... all of his tests have been completed. In just ten days he accomplished what I thought might take a month. He's officially caught up and can take a break until new materials arrive from the school.
I don't want him to spend every waking moment on some game or gadget so while we wait for new course work to come in, I'm going to offer him some reading and writing projects to exchange for gaming time and we've made some additional 'computer time' deals - like he can earn extra computer time when he mows our lawn. (It amazed me how fast he gets it done!)
Work hard, play hard!

Much better! Keep it up Sean.
Kelly I know you're religious, does he do any Bible study or reading? That is very educational. History, geography, biology etc go hand in hand with theology.
Go Sean go!
Isn't it great when we moms get our way :)
Good work Sean!
