People Are So Funny

"Wow look at your belly. You've really popped."

"You're pregnant?! I couldn't even tell!"

Aren't people too funny? ;) I went to the dentist the other day and the same day in the same office two different people said the above quotes. It's amazing to me how different people's opinions of you can be.

I remember when I was pregnant with Nicky I'd have people actually ask if I were having twins - which was crazy (I wasnt that big!) and then people say they couldn't believe how far along I was!

By the way, don't ever ask that question to a pregnant woman because if she isn't having twins you will really peeve her off. ;)

Just amazing how we all see things differently.

Oh boy - I kinda always liked when people noticed I was pregnant because everyone always said, "Oh, you're so small!" To hear that your whole pregnancy because people look at you like your not doing what you're supposed to to nurish your growing baby. Or at least to the eyes of a pregnant woman it seems like people look at you that way. LOL

As far as the twins thing, I'm always worried to ask someone if they are pregnant, because sometimes it looks like it, but they aren't. That upsets people too - when others think they are having a baby but they aren't. Yikes!

Yes, I would think that would be worse! LOL. Talk about a wake up call to lose weight if that were to happen. eeek. ;)

Oh I know... and it doesn't stop when the baby's born. One person says bbay is too small, another says s/he's huge... you just can't please everyone. :)

I always got the twin thing with all my pregnancies... my tummy was massive!

The worst was when I had my first one and I gained quite a bit of weight and when everyone came over to see the baby a few very unthoughtful people remarked how I still looked pregnant... GRrrrr!

And the thing is I didn't gain a lot. I gained 30 pounds, but there is only so many places a 9 pound baby can go when you carry him high and you have a short torso.

LOL Heck I didn't even need people to tell me I looked like I was having twins, by the end I FELT like I was. LOL
