Raw Food Diet - I'm Not a Rabbit, Am I?

I was just reading and posting some information the raw food diet and found it very interesting. Although I can certainly understand the benefits of eating food in its more natural form, how is it possible to thrive on such a restrictive diet?
(Note: I've also posted some warnings on the natural food diet you might want to read through)
Years ago, I was a vegan (vegan for about 1 year, vegetarian for about 8) and it was tough. It was hard to eat out, but it's much easier these days because of gaining popularity of the diet. It was tough to get the protein I needed and being iron-deficient, that was a bit risky. Of course, there are supplements, but that seems to defeat the purpose of a supposedly healthy diet.
Personally, I feel like I eat way too much processed food and would like to get more natural food into my diet, so it's definitely been interesting reading.
What do you think? Need more raw food in your diet...or have you ever "gone all the way" and done it all raw? ;-)

Me likes me cooked meat ;) I do admit I should eat healthier and take better care of my body though. The only time I really make a good effort is when I'm pregnant.
I eat very little meat, mainly fish and occasionally chicken and i've followed a vegetarian diet before for periods of time, but I don't think I could ever do a full blown raw diet... vegan would be difficult too.
I have read a book on the subject and find it very interesting but restrictive.
A totally raw food diet is unhealthy. In fact, I don't believe a vegetarian diet is ideal. There is no such thing as a vegetarian animal. Even gorillas and other plant eaters eat some small amounts of meat (insects, for instance).
I was close to being obsessed with a healthy diet when I was in my late teens early twenties. I think it is a kind of eating disorder, really. There is no such thing as a perfect diet, IMO.
I used to be a vegetarian and I became sick. My immune system went to pot, I became hypothyroid and had to quit my job. It was awful. Now I eat meat (hormone, antibiotic free and from a local farm if I can manage to get it) about 3-5 times a week and I feel great.
I don't know about raw foods, but I have heard from a friend that it is better to eat fresh non- processed foods.
