Having Friends Over
Today when Sean asked if Nathan and Derrek could come over after church - my mind flashed to visions of folded laundry on the coffee table and an empty fridge. Then he comes back and asks, 'Can Brandon come too?'.
When you're dealing with teenagers, popsicles just aren't going to cut it.
Fortunately, they had to make a car drop outside of town before they came over so we had time to zip to Wal-Mart for sliced meats, bread, cookies, Doritos and Coke.
Then we did a 'Trading Spaces' switcharoo and moved his computer table out to the living room. (I am not sharing my office with four testosterone filled men playing computer games.)
I'm glad that my son has good friends. Nathan and Brandon are older, I think they might even be 20 now so I shouldn't be calling them a teenager. They're good guys and have a very positive influence on Sean.
These 'good guys' are currently blowing the heads off of computer generated terrorists... *sigh* Things sure would be different if Sean were a Shawna :)

Thats too funny Kelly. I understand. Right now my boys have gone from quietly climbing trees to having boys over to play football in the backyard. Loud, sweaty and yes I relate to the walmart trips. Just be glad Sean isn't a shawna--thats just extra estrogen for you to deal with, LOL!!
LOL Kelly! Gee, I can't wait for those teen days that you always talk about;-)
