I Really Do Like a Clean House

(Despite evidence to the contrary on many days.)

I had company for lunch yesterday so I dusted and vacuumed and put things away - something that used to be normal for me but has dropped down on my list of priorities. It's no secret that I prefer to hire someone to do these things, but whatcha gonna do when the hired hand develops her own profitable business and doesn't want to shlep your vacuum around anymore? LOL! You go back to doing it yourself.

So yes, we had company for lunch yesterday. Then we joined some friends for dinner at the County Park Campgrounds last night and this morning I took Sean downstate to meet his Dad for the weekend. (They are heading out to the Camaro Superfest.)

This means that I have a clean house and it will get to stay that way for a couple of days. ;)

Not that I want to suggest that teenage boys are sloppy.

I'm kicked back in my favorite spot on the loveseat in my living room and enjoying the prospect of a nice quiet couple of days. I am glad that the Fourth of July isnt until Tuesday becuase there is nothing like a National Holiday to ruin a perfectly good weekend.

The lawn is mowed, the dog is groomed, the dishes are done, the house is clean and all is well in my world.
