Chigger Bite Cure

Bunny hunting with my son last Friday turned into chigger bite hell the next day! If you don't have chiggers where you live be thankful, be very very thankful!

The little boogers are so tiny you cannot even see them, but they do their damage. You pick them up in the grass and usually they bite around your clothing lines.

Saturday I woke up with 58 bites. And, yes, I did count them all. After applying anti-itching creams and getting little relief I decided to hop in the warm bath. The warm bath worked better than anything and not only has it stopped the itching longer, but it actually seems to be healing them faster.

So there is my tip for the week ;) Try warm baths if you have been a chigger bite buffet!

What were you going to do with the bunnies when you found them? Make soup? Or do you mean you were hunting for bunnies to look at? :-)

Nell I didn't mean to laugh cause I know what it's like to be bit (not by those little things u were talking about..lol) and look like something had you as a buffet but it still did make me giggle just because, no reason at all I guess! Thank goodness you got some relief from the warm bath:-) So are you still looking for a bunny?

LOL. We have several huge bunnies that live in the field behind us and come out when it is nice. It was a beautiful evening so they were everywhere. Nicky loves to chase them so we were looking for bunnies to chase around - not eat. LOL
