Oh, the Red Wine Stains

The other night when DH convinced me to sneak a little tetra-pack wine into the movie theatre, I knew it was a bit dangerous. Not because I'd get caught, but because it was red wine and I was wearing white pants and a white jacket. Add to that, the dark of the movie theatre, it was pretty easy to make a mistake.

Well, I did. There were dribbles all over my pants and some on my jacket. Not because I'm a messy sipper, but because when I put the tetra pack back in my bag, I didn't close it properly and it leaked. Then I put the bag in my lap before I realized anything. But ah well, it was all okay.

I was tired when we got home, so I just left the clothes until morning. I sprayed Oxi Clean laundry stain remover on them before I put them in the wash. I waited a few minutes and the stains didn't seem to be going anywhere. I started the washing machine anyway and came back when it was done. The stains were GONE! Completely GONE! I was amazed.

I'm not sure if some laundry gremlins came in when I wasn't looking, but that was some kind of miracle. I knew the stain remover was good, but didn't know it was that good. I use it on carpet spills and other troublesome stains, but this was the biggest challenge yet. Way to go Oxi Clean. :-)
