The Polly Pocket Fiasco

Yesterday, we went to McDonalds with Heidi's kids so they could run around and play. The woman at the counter didn't bother to tell me they were out of boy's toys (they were cool little Hummers), so she gave them all Polly Pocket dolls.

That was great for Heidi's daughter. But her son, crossed his arms and said, "Don't want that toy," and was rather upset about the whole thing. My son told him, "If keep it in the package, you can exchange it for a boy toy another time."

Well, my boys didn't seem to mind that they had girl toys and when they were done eating, they wanted me to open the toys. They had fun putting on the stickers and dressing the doll. But when we started to drive home these boys went crazy. They were fighting over the dolls and trying to get the others pieces. It was wild. They were so possessive of their Polly Pockets dolls. I haven't heard them scream so loud.

I told them, "If you can't play with your Polly Pockets nicely, I'll have to take them away."

That quitened them right down. Seems, my boys like Polly Pocket a lot.
