to get his students excited about learning. Even if his beat box 'strills are a tiny bit lacking ;)
Tomorrow on TNT Matthew Perry is starring as Ron Clark, an exceptional teacher who is author of The Essential 55: An Award-winning Educator's Rules for Discovering the Successful Student in Every Child
I got to meet Ron Clark at a book signing here in Atlanta. When I introduced myself and shook his hand, he asked me if I was a teacher. I told him I had 4 kids and was a homeschooling Mom. He got up out of his seat, started bowing repeatedly with his arms up over his head, "I'm not worthy" style.
I thought it was pretty cool ;)
Anyway, I loved his book and now I'm almost wishing I had cable so I could watch the movie!

I watched the movie Carrie - it was SO very cool! I love stories like his and love teachers like him. Kids need more teachers like him!
And I'm sorry to say I have no idea how to transfer a copy of a movie from my DVR to my VCR otherwise I would make a copy for you. Maybe my husband can figure it out? I'll ask him this weekend. :)
