Catch your children being *good*

Have you ever done that? Just stand off to the background and watch your child do something good, sweet or kind then praise them for it? What a warm feeling that gives me.

Today I went to my sons Elementary school to put in a few volunteer hours and the children were gathering up their belongings for lunch and outdoor recess one 2nd grade girl struggled with getting her coat on, while trying to balance her lunch bag and books and Isaac reached over put his own stuff down and helped her put on her jacket. In that short instance my heart just went "awwwww". Something so small and so sweet just seemed to speak so loudly. On my way out of the school, I stopped by my sons lunch table and simply whispered in his ear "You are such a sweet boy, love you" and pecked his forehead.

Ok, I am probably being hormonal and mushy.. but I just love catching children being sweet.
