YAY we have an orange belt here...

YAY! My 6yo Isaac has always had an endless amount of energy so in order to try to get him to channel it in a positive way, we enrolled him in TaeKwonDo over 9 months ago. Well I am happy to say that Isaac was tested for his orange belt and did an excellent job and was awarded his belt. He was so nervous because the pattern that they have been working on has over 21 moves and it really is a bit tricky and there was one part that always tripped him up but he performed it beautifully and got the promotion. You couldnt PRY the Kool Aid Grin of of his face.

I love it that Isaac has this to call his own. He works really hard during practices and it really is a big self esteem boost to him so see all of his hard work pay off.

BTW - He has this horrible cold/cough thing going on and was coughing all through the test and like a Trooper - he stepped up to the plate. Now he is whining, sipping tea and in the bed...LOL ** I can feel a nap coming on!! **

So tell me, are your children involved in any activities? Do you think that they will be a part of some soon?
