My son educates me on the female reproductive system

Today in the car my 5 year old started asking me questions about when he moves out of the house. He's very, very concerned about how he's going to transport all his clothes and toys once he's old enough to leave. I've tried explaining it, but he still seems to think that he will have to go naked to the store to shop for grown man clothing. Sigh.

Anyhoo, he starts with the questions and then he turns the subject to the girls. He thinks that it will be a long, long time after he leaves before his sisters do. Since he's only 23 months older than his next sibling, I tell him that she may actually leave the nest before he does, since she may get married before he is ready to move out.

"That's right", my 8 year old son perks up. "That's because the reproductive system of girls is ready before boys are."

Oh. Is that a fact, son?

LOL. I guess since he's a homeschooled kid, I have noone to blame but myself for his precociousness!
