Caleb said you need a brake today

Last night my oldest had a glimmer in his eye and I wasn't sure what he was up to, but he said he was making to do list for tomorrow. He told me to make sure I slept in. ;)

This morning I woke up and he yelled from the kitchen that I was not to emerge from my room for 5 more minutes!

Then he came and got me and announced that it was Mom's Brake Day. He sat me down at the table where there was herbal tea and cinnamon toast waiting... not only for me but for his siblings too!

He presented me with a handmade pink card that said:

Happy Brake Day!

And inside:

Dear Mom,

Makeing the moring meal was my suprize.
I hope you like the suprize.
