Do your kids write to Santa?

Well, my 2 teenage kids (15 and 14 years old) do not write to Santa anymore. They used to when they were younger - I think, up until they were in 6th grade. My little one - he is 8 now (3rd grade) - still writes to Santa. I remember, last Christmas, after he opened his presents from Santa ... he was so inspired to write a Santa letter for this year - he wanted a bunch of Playstation Games and toys and on the top of his list was "A Laptop Computer". My husband and I looked at the letter and smiled - "Yeah right!" (that's what I want too - as my laptop has been weird and I just want a new one - hey, I can wish too right? )

Anyway, I know my 2 older kids know who the real Santa is at home - luckily, they have not spoiled it for my little one - I think because they know that if they spoil it, then, they won't get a gift from Santa anymore. How about your kids? Do they believe in Santa and do they write Santa?

My oldest (9) doesn't make a list for Santa anymore. He just tells us and we send it to Santa.

He does leave goodies (cookies & chex mix) and a note for Santa and the reindeer. Santa always replies with the sweetest note.

My 6yo writes a letter to santa each year and gets one back in the mail (thanks to mom). I Have 2 older DD's Shayna (19) and Isreal (15) who help keep the magic of Santa alive here. We set out cookies and milk for Santa and even Carrots for the Reindeer.

Just last weekend, Isaac had the Toys R Us big Toy book in his room and he was copying the items he wanted onto paper :)

We do a mix of gifts from Santa, mom, dad and his siblings to even it all out.

LOL, Hayden is 4 and when we went into a store the other day he started asking: "can I have this, can I have that"... and the lady at the store heard my frustrated no, no, no and said "you can't get anything now, or Santa won't need to bring you anything"...

So then as we are going through the store he was asking "how do you spell army men? how do you spell dinosaur?" LOL

We didn't raise our son to believe in Santa. So no, he didn't write letters.
