How to start a compost pile
As part of my ongoing efforts to NOT spend $200 a week feeding my family of 6, I've decided to plant a *small* container garden or possibly raised bed garden in the Spring. So I need to start a compost pile now. I wish I had paid more attention when my Mom tried to get me to help out in the garden as a kid!

Such a good idea Carrie. I need to research what would grow well here and then think about starting a compost pile. We always thought about it in WA State but never did. LOL
We have a sort of steel compost bin, the kids love to stir that stuff around.
