Thankful Kiddos
Last night, when my oldest son pulled his homework folder from his bookbag, he brought me a turkey. No, not the real kind thank goodness because I don't feel like cooking one this year and that would have been an awful mess. ;)
It was a paper turkey that they cut out and colored at school. I just love this kind of stuff and it makes for great content for his yearly memory book that we put together at the end of every year. The turkey he brought home was complete with blue, yellow, red, and green feathers. On the body of the turkey the teacher had each child make a list of 5 things they are thankful for.
Here is Zach's list.
1. The food God gave me.
2. God's creatures.
3. Turkeys (I'm thinking he was hungry at the time)
4. Pets God gave us.
5. My family (whewww I was wondering if any of us would make the list)
Happy Turkey Day to everyone! What are your kids thankful for this year?
