Actions Speak Louder Than Words
This thread got me thinking about what we do to show our children just how much we love them. With Christmas just over and lots of gifts now unwrapped and some being played with at this very moment, we show our children we care with those, but that’s not what I’m talking about. That shows them you love them, but not how you love them or why you love them.
I make it a point to tell my boys that I love them each and every day (multiple times), but sometimes I don’t feel that is enough. Yes, it matters, don’t misunderstand me here, but for some reason it’s so easy to just say the words as a habit more than anything. I mean it every single time I say it, but it makes me wonder how many parents don’t even make it a point to say those words to their children, let alone show them in other ways. Those 3 little words can make such a difference and yet, sadly, many kids don’t hear them enough.
I’ve always believed that actions really do speak louder than words. So the more I SHOW my boys how much I care the better I feel and I know it makes them really believe it.
What types of things do you do to show your kids how much they mean to you?

What you DO definitely means more than what you say...and I agree...showing and telling your kids you love them everyday as well as showing them you love other people (in actions) means alot.
