Fun Sweet Christmas Tree Bread - Whole Wheat

I started a little Christmas baking today and made these cute little Christmas trees made with whole wheat flour. I took the "Best Ever Sweet Dough" recipe from my Black & Decker Breadmaker manual and modified it a bit.
Here's the ingredients for the bread:
1/2 cup sour cream
3 large eggs, room temperature
6 tbsp granulated sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter or margarine, cut into pieces
3/4 tsp salt
4 1/4 cups bread flour (I use 3 cups whole wheat flour)
3 tsp active-dry yeast or bread machine yeast
I also added dried cranberries during the kneading process. The bit of red makes it look like little Christmas tree decorations.
Once the dough had risen, I make small little balls (about 3/4" in diameter) and shaped everything into a little Christmas tree. They're cute and a reasonably healthy sweet treat with a lot less sugar than a typical Christmas cookie. :-)
