He's so grown up

I'm a big boy

That's my son in the middle there playing with two new boys he met in Mother's Day Out.

He has never been around strangers by himself. This is the first time I left him with anyone other than my parents.

And you know what? He did fantastic! He could have cared less that we left him! In fact, he didn't even notice us leave. As soon as we walked into the building he ran to the toys, watched the other kids, and started playing with them.

I can't tell you how proud I am of my independent and self assured boy. The teachers said he did so good. Played well with others, played by himself well, was polite, and really enjoyed his time.

In fact, I received my first piece of Nicky art today. Ahhh shucks ladies...I'm a proud Mama. So happy he enjoyed himself. Nick didn't want to leave he was enjoying his time that much!

Okay, I'll stop the blatant gushing and brag fest. Don't want to bore you all too much.
