Do You Miss Those Little Kid Days?

My Lovely Little Girl - Oh how I love my children!

When I had my first two, I wanted to have them "get up and go." Learn everything, know everything, walk early, talk early, etc. etc.

But with my little one Olivia, I take my time now because I realize that I can't really "hold" my daughter Victoria, but I can pick up and love my baby. I still hug Victoria but as she's 14 now, I miss those times when she was small.

Anyhow Olivia was so cute, she got in on my Birthday show and sang "Happy Birthday" Her little voice is so cute! I love to cherish all of these moments.

You can hear her here Scrappers Talk Radio. :-)

Even now that my oldest is 14, I know she'll change alot as she gets older so I try to cherish every minute with her too.

What about you, do you miss the days with your little one?

Vera I am really starting to feel this way about my oldest and he is only 9 so I know that it's only going to get worse.

I am just glad that there are so many other things that I get to watch him do that he couldn't do when he was younger. Watching him grow into a young man is just as rewarding.

Yes it does get harder as they get older, but you're right there's so many joys in life as they do grow. :-)

Our Little One is also 14 years old and 6 ft 3 inches. We still get hugs and kisses. As much as I enjoyed the times when he was younger I love being a mom of a teen. He's growing into such a good person.
