Quest for a New Television

For two years now Sean and I have said we want to buy a new bigger television for Christmas. Both years we decided that we could wait. First it was becuase I wanted a new entertainment center first, then I forget why.

So it's Christmas again and we've been looking at televisions.

He wants a widescreen flat panel. Of course those are outrageously expensive.

I want a large television but I'm quite happy with a regular old fat head TV.

But now that I've looked at the fat head televisions - they are really fat! The sleek an slim flat panels are so attractive and easy to work with.

I'm torn in two about it. I refuse to go into debt for anything so it has to be paid for with cash. I guess if I could find a flat panel of the size we want for about $500, I could swing it. I think that's doubtful before Christmas - but the boy is going to his Dad's house until Christmas day so we could shop the after Christmas sales...
