‘Tis the Season…

For not only Holiday happenings, but the cold and flu bugs too.

We are having a discussion about flu shots and whether or not we get them and why or why not.

I personally don’t get them and neither do my boys. I honestly believe they make the situation worse. There are so many strains of viruses that they couldn’t possibly keep up with the new strains that appear every year.

Many of the moms on the forum work from home and don’t feel they need them because they aren’t in contact with as many people as if they worked outside the home, therefore they don’t see the need.

Now, if someone with a medical situation had a poor immune system, I could see the possible need for the flu shot, but for us that isn’t a problem so I’ll save ours for those that really need them.

How about you, what do you think about the flu shots? Do you get them or do your children?
