Have You Had a Girls Night Lately?
It was a lot of fun to get together and relax, not think about my business and spend some time with my friends which I seem to do less and less of all the time. We just get busy with the kids, with family, work and there seems to be no time left for a girls night... but it's well worth it to plan a night to get out with friends.
It was over a year since the last time I had friends over for a girls night so I plan on making it less than a year before we do it again. If you want a great drink then I recommend Oprah's Pomegranate Martini's, I just love them (but I didn't have TOO many of course ;)...

Angela..
I try to do this about once a month if possible. Either at someones home or going out to dinner and movies with the girls.
We've also been known to go to an occasional male revue which is a kick!LOL Games sound like fun too.
What is Identity Crisis like and also I'd be real interested in the ingredients in that Oprah's Pomrgranate Martini you mentioned or special margarita drinks!
Angela it sounds like you had fun. Can you tell me what Identity Crisis is and how you play it?
I haven't had a 'girls' night in a long time but for about the past month a group of friends and I have had a weekly game night. Seem how I'm the only single gal there I'd like to have just a 'girls' night once instead of game night where the males are there & I'm feeling like a sidekick ;-)
I haven't had a girls night out for quite some time. I cannot believe how busy we get.
Sounds like you ladies had a terrific time.
I looked up the Pomegranite Martini's on google, that's how I found the recipe... here is the link on Oprah's site (hope it doesn't break up): http://www.oprah.com/foodhome/food/recipes/food_20051123_drink.jhtml
The Identity Crisis game we weren't sure about, there were so many instructions and my friend had just gotten it for Christmas so she'd never played it. We got into two teams and then one person gives clues about a person that they are supposed to be and then everyone else on their team had to guess who it was. I dont' think we really played it right but we still had fun, hehe.
We also had the classic Spinach Dip with Pumpernickle Bread (spelling?), and a great cream cheese/sour cream/salsa nacho dip and tortilla chips.. yummm... two friends brought the dips, I made the martinis and my other friend brought the margarita stuff :), there were only four of use but we still had fun.
Anyway, hope that gives some ideas..
