Mom Time, Do You Get It?

In a post last week I discussed how moms can still have a life even after having kids. I’m so glad to see everyone’s responses. Being mom doesn’t mean not being you too.

I know I’m not the only mom who values her me time. Time to do anything she wants without kids or hubby around. It doesn’t matter what it involves time to just relax, read, get your nails done, catch a movie, whatever it is that you like to do, as long as it’s for yourself. It’s essential in my opinion. Happy moms are better moms after all.

I do know that some moms have a hard time getting out because their partner doesn’t agree. Personally, I think a good husband realizes that mom needs time alone to unwind and have fun and it make me sad when some men don’t give this to their partners.

My hubby actually makes sure I get time to myself and he’ll always nudge me when he thinks it’s time for a mommy break. He knows when moms happy, everyone else is happy.

How about you, do you get me time? Is hubby supportive of you taking a time out from being mom and wife? Come join us at the forum and tell us what you do to rejuvenate or just leave your comments here.
