What do you do to remind yourself of things you need to do?

I know everyone has their own way of reminding themselves of things that need to be done - some put strings around their finger, while, other put post-it notes up where they can see them. Below are a few things I do to make me remember ...

- I have a to do list that I always have on my desk
- I have a planner that I religiously check
- I leave myself messages on my cell phone - I also set the alarm/calendar on my cell phone
- I use an online calendar as well as an organizer I have in my computer
- I carry around a small notebook in my purse where I jot down important stuff

My teen kids - write notes on their hands with an ink pen - Now, That annoys me sooooooo much! I have argued with them too many times that I am just tired. I just try my best to keep my cool when I see little scribbles on their hands and remind them to wash it off as soon as they can.

How about you - What do you do? Perhaps you have an easier and more logical way I can try to remind me of things that I need to do.

I utilize a dry eraser board, planner and wall calendars. Our teenage son has a dry eraser wall calendar that he updates.
I also use daily lists.

I used to write things on my hand too until DH let me know that it annoys him. LOL

At least on your hand you know it's written on something that will always be with you. Unfortunately it probably doesn't look too good and it's likely to get rubbed or washed of. Plus, there's not enough room on my hand for all the things I need to do in one day now that I am a mom to 4 kids!

So now that I don't write on my hand any more, I use a bulletin board and my phone - I just love the calendar/reminder system my phone offers.
