Hey there moms!! A new Parenting My Teen podcast aired this morning and I am in love with this particular show.So many times we hear things that are very negative things about teens and the relationship they have with parents. Well, this week I got to speak with a self-esteem and character youth motivator! She speaks very candidly about issues such as teen self esteem, teen anxiety and what parents can do to help.
Isreal (my 15yo daughter is also on the show giving parents her tips on what do to when it comes to talking to your teens about dating. I love speaking with her because she really gives a fresh breath of air to many parents who may not be in tune with issues that their very own teens face.

I appreciate that your guest mention that self esteem is an issue with boys too. As parents, I feel that it is our duty to help our children feel great about themselves. Many times, it's by our own actions, things that we have in our power.
We definitely learn alot from our children. Recently, our teen mentioned that he isn't normal because his parents are still married. Who would have thought that we would hear our children say something like that.
