Crying To Go To School?

Today my little guy, Hayden, woke up at 6am and came into my room saying he wasn't feeling well. He woke up again later and still wasn't feel well at all...was pretty warm, complained of a sore throat and a headache. So all day he's been lying on the couch not feeling well at all, had me rubbing his head, and I gave him a cold cloth and he was generally not happy at all.

Around noon I gave him two kids tylenol and within an hour he was up and walking around and back to his normal, cheerful self. I don't like to use pills or give them to him if it can be avoided but what a difference it made!

Anyway, around one o'clock Hayden asked me if he could invite our next door neighbour over and I told him she was in school. Well a little while after that he started crying because he said he didn't want to miss school and asked me if I could drive him there right now so he doesn't miss the whole day, lol. He was pretty upset, but luckily he has school tomorrow so he seemed to be ok with that. He's in Junior Kindergarten so he doesn't go everyday.

I wonder if he'll cry to go when he's a teenager? haha
