How do you buy chicken?

Do you buy them whole or do you buy them pre-cut? I was just wondering because ... I had a discussion with my sister who buys pre-cut chicken. I usually buy whole chicken and cut it up myself - only because, it's cheaper that way - unless the cut up chicken is on sale. I guess - she didn't mind spending a little more for the convenience of having it ready for her to just cook.

I guess my real question for this post is ... would you rather pay extra than go through the hassle of doing things yourself?

For certain things - my answer is "yes" - like for bread - I'd rather buy the bread than bake it myself. For other things though - like chicken - lol - my answer is "no". I guess sometimes it depends on my mood - some days, I feel like I can do anything and everything myself . But for the most part, I guess it depends on the availability of funds.
