Miracle Baby Counts to Five
This is a picture of me with my darling great neice Macey when she was a few months old. Macey and her sister Chloe were born very early. Chloe didn't make it and Macey's life seemed to hang in the balance for weeks. Every doctor delivered bad reports and refused to hold out hope - but Macey fought hard!
My neice and her husband brought Macey home at five months old. She has had to have surgeries and will face more in the years to come.
She is a smart, spirited child who I really enjoy spending time with. (I can't wait to live closer to them so that we can have more dollhouse time!)
My neice recently posted a video to Macey's blog. In it Macey counts to five. When I watched this video, for just a moment I felt like my heart would burst. She's a Miracle that I thank God for every day.

I just finished watching the video(s). I can't believe how big she is now. She's so beautiful and it's amazing seeing how far she has come.
