Pork People Upset With The Lactivist
Oh for Pete's sake, this just beats all.
One of my favorite blogs belongs to Jennifer aka The Lactivist, who as a hobby (her "real" job other than being Mom of 2 is that of search engine marketer) publishes a blog on breastfeeding, and who has donated impressive amounts of money to a local milk bank.
Apparently Jennifer has stepped on the pig people's toes with her "The Other White Milk" breastfeeding advocacy tshirt. Read the whole story here: Pork people want to sue Lactivist

What an interesting blog - and I just love her shirts! Although some are too racey for me they are certainly clever!
Nip/Suck - that's priceless. Christian and Sean would be proud! Hopefully F/X Networks that makes the show will feel the same. ;-)
As for the lawsuit, I'm sorry, but I've seen the "Other White Meat" specifically used in different meaning they would truly shudder over.

Alice, I think we Americans have the market cornered on this particular weirdness.
Dh tells me he never remembers thinking anything of a woman nursing in public back home. He says that his best friend's Mum breastfed her toddler in their home with him around and his only concern was trying not to look. But as for being freaked out by Moms nursing at the bus stop, or wherever he saw them, it was not an issue.
America, the home of Hooters restaurant...
