How have your beliefs shaped your parenting?
This week on Natural Moms Talk Radio I talked with a Mom who is a Christian and who came to her gentle parenting views because of that. It got me to thinking about how beliefs can shape parenting.
How have your religious views, or lack of, impacted your parenting? For me personally, gentle parenting is an extension of my understanding of God. But others who share my same beliefs parent very differently... how do you reconcile that?

What a terrific question. I say that because I never really put that much thought into how my parenting is affected by my beliefs. My husband and I just try very hard to be there and aware of our son's needs.
Because of my belief, our teen does attend church and other activities. I want him to have that foundation, in his life.
