Organic Cleaners Do You Use ‘Em?
This week I was thinking about how many of us moms are finding healthier ways to live not only for ourselves, but our whole family. What sparked my thinking was a post that forum member, Nell posted about household cleaners.
So many of us are taking steps to buy more organic food for our households and Nell brought up a good point about not stopping there when she requested information about organic or homemade household cleaners.
I don’t use really use any homemade cleaners and some of the moms at the forum have said they have tried them, but they don’t seem to work all that well. My housekeeper seems to like using a lot of vinegar. However, she still uses the Vim, bleach and Pine-Sol, so we’re definitely not organic. What do we do in order to make cleaning healthier and more kid-friendly?
In case you’ve been wondering how you can rid your home of the harmful cleaners without sacrificing a clean house in the process, come on over to the forum and see the responses that moms have shared with everyone. If you have any suggestions for products you’ve used that worked or didn’t work, hop on over to the organic cleaning thread and tell us about them.

I use Borax instead of fabric softner. It's a much better deodorizer, especially with our teen's shirts.
I'm actually looking into these cleaning products now: http://www.saferforyourhome.com/safer.htm
Between being a mom of two young boys, cooking fresh meals everyday now, cleaning up, being wifey, being a VA/IC, and building my passive income I just don't think making my own products will work for me right now LOL
So, we'll see about buying a set of products that are supposed to be better for you and the enviroment.
