Stupid Gets Even Stupider
Have you read this story about a 15 year old and a 13 year old girl, invited a girl for a sleepover, beat the crap out of her, video taped it and put it on MySpace (at least according to a CNN report earlier today)?
They've been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery.
Please, let me raise smarter and kinder teenagers than this.

Wow that is beyond stupid! Plus it just reinforces to me that doing the right thing when I insist on knowing the parents on a friendship level before ever considering the kids to sleep over. Which gets much harder as the kids get older.

They wanted and needed to get caught. My guess is that they're either being abused themselves, or the opposite, they've been pampered and are begging for some limits and consequences.
