Who’s Dannielynn’s Daddy? Now We Know for Sure
Out of all the options (so sad there were so many), Birkhead seems to be the best – at least from the perspective I’ve got over here. According to this article, about an interview he did on the US based Today’s show, he wants Howard K. Stern to be a part of his daughter’s life and seems he really wants to do what’s best for his daughter.
Anna Nicole’s mother is not giving up either. She may be going to court to attempt to receive at least partial custody of the little one, according to this article and other sources.
I feel bad for the grandmother because I think she is trying to do the right thing. Still, she should respect her dead daughter’s wishes. So sad to see a mother/daughter relationship that was so strained and didn’t have a chance to be mended before Anna Nicole’s death. Trying to take a baby from her biological father doesn’t seem to quite the right thing.
Birkhead has said that he won’t share custody, but that he has no problems allowing the grandmother to see the child as often as she would like. He was quoted as saying, “She has everything she's going to need and all I have to do is give her the love, and that's what I'm ready and prepared to do.”
I hope for the Dannielynn’s sake, he means what he says and really is putting what’s best for his daughter first and foremost. What a sad, sad story. I hope Dannielynn can retreat to a quiet life outside the media.

Wow - that's all I can say. I hope everything he says is true and not just for "good publicity" for him.
In Hawaii, if a mother puts a guys name on the birth cert and both her and the guy sign an establishment of paternity, legal action has to be taken to overturn that paternity.
I'm sure a DNA test would be quite compelling though. I just think that child is going to have issues no matter what and I hope whoever becomes her main guardian for her life does what's best for her and helps her become a well adjusted human being.
Yes, I've been following this closely - I seem to be mesmerized by it.
I was relieved to hear that Larry Birkhead is the father - he does seem to be the one who will give DannieLynn the most stable life.
But the chances of her being "out of the limelight" ae probably slim, regardless of what he does.
