Happy Victoria Day to My Fellow Canadians

Man, I am late saying this. It's no longer Victoria Day in most of Canada, but we still have about an hour left here in B.C. I've been running around all day trying to find new patio furniture and I FINALLY found just the right set. And out of the blue, the lady at Zellers, knocked $100 off the price, so I was very pleased!

If you're not familiar with the holiday, Victoria Day is a national holiday here in Canada, celebrated the third Monday in May.

Sort of the equivalent to the United States’ Memorial Day, Victoria Day is traditionally the first warm long weekend of the year in these parts, so families may go camping, have BBQs, head to the beach or have a picnic; anything that gets us outside and in the mood for summer works for me. But of course, I spent the day preparing to be outside, but that's okay.

So...how was your Victoria Day, no matter what part of the world you live in?
