Happy Victoria Day to My Fellow Canadians
If you're not familiar with the holiday, Victoria Day is a national holiday here in Canada, celebrated the third Monday in May.
Sort of the equivalent to the United States’ Memorial Day, Victoria Day is traditionally the first warm long weekend of the year in these parts, so families may go camping, have BBQs, head to the beach or have a picnic; anything that gets us outside and in the mood for summer works for me. But of course, I spent the day preparing to be outside, but that's okay.
So...how was your Victoria Day, no matter what part of the world you live in?
