Mom's Need To Accept Help
She says "We moms tend to be a little bit independent and we think that we are so strong and we just don’t want to bother people, we want to be able to do it all."
That's an understatement isn't it?
We really hate to admit that we need help - but there are times in life when we do need help, lots of it! And after having a baby - or even before - can be one of those times.
My niece is pregnant with quads - and she has already spent several weeks on bedrest and she is only about 18 weeks. Seeing her at this stage, where she already looks like she's full term - has us all wondered just how big she'll get! She's already quite uncomfortable and after a few weeks on bedrest, feeling weak and helpless.
It's hard for her to sit back and let others take care of her four year old and house. But she knows that her job right now is to give her four babies the safest, healthies and most peaceful womb possible.
Of course - after the babies are born - her and her hubby will continue to need lots of help.
Pride has to take backseat - whether it's four babies or just one. Everybody needs support - so if you've struggled with letting others give you a helping hand - just remember that people really love to feel needed. By letting them bless you, you are really blessing them.
