What is your favorite time of the day?

As our family was hanging out one day last week - I asked everyone - what their favorite time of the day was ... for my kids, they said their favorite time of the day is when school is over - in other words ... when it is time to go home. My husband didn't really have a favorite time of the day - such a boring person - huh?! Well, my favorite time of the day is dinner time - not because of FOOD - but because at dinner time, we get to all "as a family" - sit down together in the dining table and share stories, tell everyone about our day, tell jokes, laugh, etc ... It does not really matter if the food is good or "not so good" ...

The fact that we all get to share our stories and thoughts - especially the laughter - is the best part. I really look forward to dinner time - because I know ... one day, when the kids are bigger and have their own families - it'll be quieter. *sigh* - This has been a tradition in my family to share the story of your day during dinner time - I sure hope my kids will keep this tradition with their own families too.
