Do you give in when it comes to movies?
Ok so my husband and I decided to go and see a movie last weekend. I was holding out and told him, nope there's no way we're seeing an Action movie, it must be a "chick flick." He grumbled about it but agreed that we always seem to watch the action stuff and never of the emotional love story movies that I like to see.
Don't get me wrong, I do love action movies but not every single time! And then being the wife that I am, knowing my husband will enjoy himself more if I give in and we go see the movie he wanted to see.. Live Free Die Hard.
I figured Brucey's time was up with that whole series but boy was I wrong. I don't think I've enjoyed an action packed film that much ever before. The entire movie was so well done and the action rocked! It was action packed right from the beginning and boy did I love it. I even thanked my husband for wanting to see that movie.
Do you give in to movies too?
If you haven't seen it yet, take it from this mom and go for it!

Well, in my case, I hate "chick flicks" almost as much as my hubby! We pretty much enjoy the same kinds of movies (sci-fi and action) -one exception being classic black and white movies -he feels nothing made before color is any good.
Although I guess some of those could be considered "chick flicks", but I'm really not into the sappy, sentimental movies. If a love story is written in AROUND the main plot,that's ok.
Most "chick flicks" are boring and predictable -which is what I dislike more than the actual romance aspect of it. There are a few exceptions -there have been a few that have been fun -
I actually love action movies. I rarely watch any type of "chick flick". I don't have to give in since we both like the same movies.
I can't wait to see the upcoming bourne movie! We want to go to Sicko, too. :)
If we didn't like the same movies I would give in and would like to think he would also. Part of being married. lol
My hubby and I both go rfor action and avoid chick flicks so not an issue for us :)
Lance and I are right with Nell, the more action the better. I want to see Bruce in action this weekend!! :)

Well I do love action too, but I definately love a good chick flick, the last one I watched and really liked was "The Holiday." Hey Nell, me too, I can't wait for the next Bourne movie to come out too, I actually hadn't seen any of them so I rented the first ones so I'd be ready to see this one. Hubby is insistant that this series is his favorite.
Mine are still little so we don't do movies much. But my hubby would love it. Thanks for stopping by
No need to give in usually...I love all kinds of movies and will see them all.
Actually, that's not totally true. I generally don't like chick-flicks, so there's usually no issue. :-)
And if I did want to see one, I have a couple girlfriends who love movies just as much as I do - and we'd go together.
What's with everyone, I LOVE chick flicks. I guess I'm odd chick out. LOL!
