You Know You're a Mom When...
They gathered the information from HawaiiMoms.com and I just thought you'd get a kick out of reading what some Hawaii Moms had to say. You can read the article HERE.
Wanna know some of my thoughts? Here they are...
You Know You're a Mom When...
...going to the grocery store by yourself is a big treat.
...the word "No" becomes the most commonly used word in your vocabulary.
...the majority of your conversation for the day happens with people who are under the age of 5.
...you look for your kids even when they aren't with you.
...you know that a room of quiet kids often means trouble.
...the day you meet the kids named "I don't know" and "Wasn't me" they are really going to get it!
...you feel super special when you get a meal all to yourself and you don't have to share.
...you don't need an alarm clock to wake up by 7 am
How about you? Do you have some you can share?

You know your a mom when....
you can't take a bath without an audience and toys being dropped on you.
Stacie I love the one you mentioned about ...the day you meet the kids named "I don't know" and "Wasn't me" they are really going to get it!
My son always says these things and it cracks me up when he says "wasn't me" because he's the only other one in the house besides me - so if it wasn't him then who was it? LOL
Oh I love this one!
"...you look for your kids even when they aren't with you."
That was me when I had a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old. :-)
My "alarm clock" didn't go off this morning and we were almost late for tennis lessons! :-)
You know you are a mom when ... you hear a child say "Mommy!" and you look ... even if you know you are not with your child - or even if you know your kids are older.
A pedi for sure. It's nice to have pretty toes when the rest of you is all swollen :)
oops, wrong post!
You know you're a Mom when you're out to dinner with adult friends and you're the person in the room with wet wipes, safety pin, Band-Aids and a granola bar in your purse.
Carrie - LOL on the pedi comment! I was wondering if that was put in the wrong spot. Thanks for the laugh though and a pedi WOULD be nice right about now. ;)
