3 Cheers for Sadie - Is Carrie done with diapers forever?

- woke up dry in the morning
- removed her diaper immediately when wet OR soiled (making some interesting messes!)
- knew the words for these activities
For about 2 months I've been sitting her on the potty first thing in the morning and she would usually go, and she ran around nakeybums for a large part of the day (I think this is really important to shorten the learning curve).
In the last two days she has voluntarily gone twice without my prompting. Yea for Sadie! I can't believe that after 9 years straight of doing diapers, my changing days are almost over.

Update: I wrote this post about 15 minutes after she went to the potty on her own.
While I was typing she walked into the bathroom again, said: "Where potty go?", sat down, and went again.
She is an official Big Girl Princess Panty wearer right about now. ;)
Way to go, Sadie!
She's up to 4 times today so far, totally unprompted by Mom.
I'm totally stoked. :)
Way to go big girl!!!
Awesome, way to go! That's gotta be exciting for you Carrie - 9 years is a long time...wow it's probably gonna seem weird to not have to buy diapers anymore.
Wow...can she come teach my 23 month old a thing or two? He knows what pee pee means and he's peed in the potty twice. ;)
Now, however he says "pee pee", "pee pee" just so he can get in the bathroom and then it's "teeth, teeth" because he loves brushing his teeth.
Congratulations to Sadie and to Mom! Wow, I can't imagine changing diapers non stop for 9 years! I don't envy you on that count hun. ;)
hehe - Go Sadie, go! She is adorable, by the way!
