It's a Mind Game
I am really happy to be here!
I "named" myself one day while I was rushing around, trying to go 3 ways at once - as usual, and the thought came to me, I am the queen of kaos.
And it stuck :0)
But I know that all of us are more than familiar with the feeling.
One thing that I have learned over the years is that it (kaos) is very much a head game, or state of mind.
Can't, won't, don't want to... just think it and that's what happens.
I am always surprising myself when I actually listen to what I am saying, stop and say, yes I can.
Then I just do it, and most times, it takes far less effort and time than I thought it would, and the results are more than worth it.
Keeping your focus is the important thing.
Now that I've said it, I realize that isn't what I had meant to blog about - oops :0)

I think that is really funny. Starting to do one thing, but ending up doing another. It's the story of the over-worked mother.
Glad to see you as a new contributor here.
You are absolutely, right. If you let it stress you out - it WILL stress you out.
I am constantly doing this, and it really is a drain on productivity.
It's one reason that I find the timer to be one of the best tools ever when doing chores or tasks.
I still find myself going in the "wrong" direction (literally), but since I am focused on being focused for a set amount of time, I notice it and immediately get back to the right thing.
One of the worse things about stress is the energy that it sucks, mentally, physically and emotionally.
For small tasks especially, it's easier to just do them rather than to carry them around :0)
