Life as a Mom
As I watched the video below I realized just how it’s nature that makes us moms the way we are.
Very alert and aware of everything going on around her and her babies, this mama is not afraid to relax and just let her kiddos play. However, just like the rest of us, she realizes that a mother’s work is never done as something immediately jolts her back to reality. Relaxation will have to wait for now. She’s got little ones to protect.
We could all learn a lot from this mama cat. Notice how she doesn’t seem the least bit concerned that her napping will have to wait…yet again. :-)
And another thing – I was totally amazed the mother cat looks EXACTLY like mine and when she had a litter years ago, many of the same colors and patterns appeared in the babies. I guess we mamas are a lot alike.

Awww that makes me miss my "Butters." We had a cat Butterscotch that ran away about 2 years ago now. :-(
It is amazing how animals care for their young and so many people can't. She kind of looks like our Periwinkle, but lighter colors. I miss having kittens around -sometimes lol
How cute. She looks a lot like our "Snickers" who has had two litters. She is an attached mom too - very loving and nurses for 6 months generally. LOL
