Mc Donalds My Life Saver
It was 3 o'clock and after picking up my kids at the neighbor's house (they were staying there for a few hours so I could work) I though what do I do? My husband wasn't going to get home till 5:30 or 6 and I don't have a key anywhere else. My neighbor said we could stay but you know how you start to feel you're overstaying your welcome?
After a few hours of being there, we headed out to our nearest McDonalds... it was a lifesaver for three cranky and hungry kids. I don't generally like McDonalds but when you have three kids that aren't going to be happy going anywhere else and who had been playing outside all day and looked like they were ready for the bathtub NOT to go out to eat, a quick McDonalds worked wonders.
It's funny how I usually turn my nose up at it, but in this case I was very happy to go there. Now I need to stop locking myself out of the house!

I read about a guy who was homeless temporarily, who said that McDonald's was a lifesaver for him, because he could eat so cheaply and have a clean safe place to use a restroom.
You know it's pretty dumb but I remember thinking about the homeless thing on the way back from McDonald's yesterday... it was weird having to "kill" time before going home.
I thought my god how awful would it be to not actually have a place to go to especially when you have children.
And I thought I was the only one having preggo brain moments. Good to know that I'm not the only one that has "those" moments.
