What is under your couch?

Today was the first day of peace and quiet in my home with all 3 kids in school (finally my highschool kids go back to school today!) - and my husband off to the office - I am left alone at home. I get to work and focus. I was trying to download some pictures from my camera but realized that my camera was out of batteries. So, I proceeded to look for my battery charger. I know I used it last about a week ago - but, I could not remember where I placed it.

I searched in my desk drawers - not there! I searched in the bedrooms - not there! I searched and searched and after 45 minutes - I finally found it. I felt sad for wasting those 45 minutes *sigh* ... so now, I am happily charging my batteries.

Anyway, as I was searching for it, I happen to look under my living room couch - and I found soooooo much JUNK underneath the couch - YUCK! I found the DVD remote control that we were looking for a few weeks now - a couple of DVD's, books, toys, notebooks, pencils, scrap papers, receipts - luckily no food but lots of dust bunnies. Now, after this blog post - I will have to rearrange the furniture and do some vacuuming down there - I guess, I should call it "treasure hunting" to make it sound more exciting.

Now, I was wondering - what other moms have under their couches. Go ahead and look and let me know by posting the goodies you found in the comment box. I guess this is a reminder too - to make sure you check under the couch regularly and not miss it when you are cleaning your house.

Under... my... couch??

No! Don't make me look there!

Not much right now, but then my husband cleaned it out less than two weeks ago. Normally there's a healthy variety of toys, junk mail and random items that probably shouldn't have been left out long enough to wander under the couch to begin with.
